Billy Gallas has lost the plot a little, although the senior managment of the club have mishandled him spectauclarly.

    What a shame - such a great player, and a complete ar$ehole.

What a way to end such a great time at Chelsea. He would have been forgiven if he went to Barca,Real or anywhere else in Europe. But to state that he wanted to play abroad and then move to Arsenal leaves a very bitter and sour taste in the mouth.Hopefully he will be sad that he is moving, but I somehow doubt it.There is only one player to blame for Gallas leaving and it is not Ashley Cole.Hopefully he will be given the respect on the football field that every Chelsea player deserves.Whatever grievences Gallas has festered since last season,he should have been man enough to tell the fans, not hide behind his agent and French newspapers. You could have been one of the all time Chelsea greats, but now fans will just remember your betrayal and reluctance to tell the truth to the supporters who loved you.

For a while there I was thinking “as you were gents”. Then I thought “ok we’ll have Cole too thanks”. Because I never imagined Gallas would go - I figured they’d iron things out and get on with it.

Also, I’d take Billy any day over Ashley and I really never thought we would consider a swap deal after the Ar$e evaluation of Billy at 5m. But if both players are so unhappy then I suppose it makes sense. Still ,I think Billy is worth as much as Cole and I’ll be interested to see how much we get ripped off for.

Billy is an outstanding central defender. Partnered with JT, they had a quite an amazing number of shut-outs and I just can’t understand why JM insisted on playing Carvalho there instead. It’s no wonder he wants to leave after being played out of position so often. Perhaps we should blame JM for getting Del Horno instread of Cole back then!
It will be a shame to see Billy go. Ar$e will have done a good deal there.

On the other hand we’ll have both England international left backs. Spoilt for choice. I feel its a bit unfair on Bridgey as he will probably get ousted in favour of Cole whereasactually Bridgey is looking pretty hot these days running rampant down the wings in JM’s diamond and coming up with two assists!

Funny but the Ar$e lot are starting to look like us in Vialli’s days…. where all the English lads gone?

Very Very sad to see Gallas leaving. I think Lynn summed up my emotional state and disappointment best. Oh so sad to see him go, still, Thanks for all the memories billy boy. Especially THAT winner against the spuds.

What sort of reception will billy boy get when he comes back to the bridge? Once the dust settles do you think we, as a whole, will give him a rousing round of applause…?

    Pity really…

Why Arsenal? Is it because of the French Legion? Traitor if you ask me.

This does not increase my love for Arsenal one bit.

Never to be recognized at the Bridge that is for sure…Hope you rot in the A@se

Shame Billy has gone, but frankly if he doesn’t want to play for us then screw him. Brilliant footballer, shit human being. Good deal overall - especially given that Dein seems to have made a huge climb down on his initial valuation of Cole.
