Post-Glastonbury update
As usual the Glastonbury Festival was awesome. Mostly wet and muddy but awesome. Quick highlights were Sunday night’s Pyramid Stage finale by Muse, and Loonaloop on the Avalon Stage Saturday. Oh, and not forgetting being part of the biggest single collection of fans outside the stadium to watch England’s quarter-final defeat to Portugal. (If I was anywhere else at the time I would’ve been totally devastated, but the spirit of Glastonbury seemed to ease the pain somewhat.)
And so to Chelsea. Apparantly death threats prevented Steven Gerrard moving to Chelsea and Deco’s move to the Bridge is off because he has his mind set on a move to Barcelona. Ho hum. We are now supposedly trying to buy Benfica’s Tiago, who hasn’t even started a match for Portugal at this year’s Euros. I can’t keep up.
Updates will now resume their usual frequency.

Just what is needed another midfielder ! But Tiago is “only 1 of 3 being considered” allegedly quoted from PK.
Does this mean JM is happy with the forwards and cover for central defence !
We certainly have a proliferation of midfielders at the club. Jesper looks to be on his way, but who’s going to follow him out of the exit door? Geremi and Joe Cole? Press reports—hopefully completely untrue—are linking both with Tottenham.
The number of ‘top’ players turning down a move to CFC is unnerving. RA must be wondering what the hell is going on. Maybe it’s time for Kenyon to be shown the exit door too! ;-)
